Cartier ‘Ceinture’ 78099 First Generation 18k Yellow Gold circa 1972

First series Cartier Ceinture 78099 from the Cartier Louis 1972 collection, featuring the original Cartier strap and ‘Paris-dial’. Note how this model has 4 screws, one on each corner. Shortly after, they changed the construction on the case and placed screws between the lugs. Also, on this first model, Cartier used ‘inverted push pins’. All highlighted on the images.

Furthermore, the watch has been preserved in mint condition and features a manually wound movement. The screws seem untouched, and the case back shows crisp hallmarks and numbers.
