Stars and celebrities such as Micheal Jackson, Andy Warhol and Diana Ross were on spotted on the floors of Studio 54. Nile Rodgers and Bernard Edwards from the legendary disco band ‘Chic’ were rejected from the legendary Studio 54, after which they made the song, ‘Le freak’. 1977 was also the year, that George Lucas’ first Star Wars film made its debut in theatres across the U.S., and the Rocky theme song, ‘Gonna Fly Now’, was released.
