A truly astonishing vintage find, which ticks all the collectors boxes. The condition is mint, the rarity is out of this world, and last but not least, the quality is almost unmatched. There are so many details of this Gübelin Cioccolatone which are simply spectacular. The 18k yellow gold case features thick, tear-drop shaped lugs and a very heavy snap-back case. Inside, the original dust cover protects the beautifully finished (by Gübelin…), automatic movement, absolutely top notch. The dial itself is a masterpiece. It features the original brushing, ‘Swiss’-signature, brilliant and baguette diamonds. Furthermore, the dial is decorated with the mesmerizing applied Gübelin logo and signature. All these elements combined make a ultra rare, desirable vintage watch for the true connoisseur. The heavy Cioccolatone case measures 32 mm across, but please note: a 32 mm square watch, wears completely different then a 32 mm round watch. This is caused by the surface area of the dial, which is a lot bigger on a square / tank watch, then on a round dial.
