Gübelin Ipso Matic 18k gold dress watch

Brand history:
Gübelin is a renowned Swiss luxury brand with a history spanning over 160 years. Founded in 1854 by Eduard Jakob Gübelin in Lucerne, Switzerland, the company initially focused on trading and crafting gemstones. Over time, Gübelin became known for its exceptional gemstones, renowned for their quality and beauty. The brand expanded into jewelry design, incorporating exquisite craftsmanship and precious materials. Gübelin also was specialized in the middle of the 20th century, in selling high-end watches, such as Patek Philippe. This explains the occurrence of Patek Philippe wristwatches with the Gübelin retailer signature on the dial. Today, Gübelin remains a symbol of Swiss excellence and tradition in the world of fine jewelry and gemstones, offering a wide range of breathtaking creations that embody elegance and timeless beauty.
