Heuer ‘Triple Calendar’ Valjoux 90 French Market Steel circa 1950’s

€ 5.250

PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

Fantastic Heuer ‘Triple Calendar’ from the 1950’s in a steel case with stepped, cow horn lugs. This example was intended for the French market, which can be seen by the ‘FAB. SUISSE’-signature. A noteworthy detail is the the iconic Heuer signature had to make place, and has been moved to the lower-side of the dial. Furthermore, the dial features a two-tone effect and beautiful Arabic indexes with gilt- coloured printing. Inside runs the Valjoux 90 caliber. In terms of lay-out, it strongly reminds me of the Valjoux VZ which can be found in vintage Audemars Piguet watches from this era. This exquisitely preserved example has been strapped on a handmade strap, made in Italy.
