IWC (International Watch Company) stainless-steel automatic wristwatch made in Switzerland in the 1960’s

Stainless-steel Calatrava-shaped

In-house IWC caliber 8531 automatic

New 18 mm. leather (alligator)

The patinated and original dial doesn’t go unnoticed on this vintage IWC wristwatch. An interesting addition, next to the extraordinary design of this watch, is its movement. This watch bears the in-house caliber 8531, which also was used in the famous and rare IWC Ingenieur ref. 666 wristwatches which are popular among vintage watch enthusiasts for its rarity and classic design. Furthermore, the case is preserved in a very good and possibly unpolished condition. The lugs are sharp and still have their original edges. The IWC cal. 8531 runs strong and keeps time accurately. The icing on the cake for this vintage IWC watch is it’s brand new alligator leather strap. Perfectly suitable for everyday wear. However this elegant wristwatch would feel home as well, at more formal events as a stylish wrist companion.

34 mm. diam.
