Jeager-LeCoultre ‘Uniplan’ Black Art-Deco Dial circa 1942

Incredible Jaeger-LeCoultre Uniplan with original black art-deco dial. The watch is cased in a rectangular ‘Tank’ style case measuring 23.5 x 37.5 mm. This makes the resemblance with early Cartier even stronger, while measurements are often similar, both brands used JLC-movements, and both brands where sold in similar high-end contexts. This example features its original facetted plexiglass and is fitted with a period correct buckle.
