Longines Calatrava cal. 10.40 VERY RARE + box

An extremely rare wrist wonder by Longines, dating back to the beginning of the 1940’s. The original ‘Telephone’ dial shows light patina which emphasis the originality of this 80 year old stainless steel watch.

This very early example which features the amazing and very rare Longines in-house caliber 10.40, measures 31mm, excluding the original crown. In addition, the blue steeled hands are in beautiful contrast with the colour of the case and dial. The grey strap is a vintage new old stock example, fitting this sophisticated Longines very well.

The original plexiglass is still present. The plexiglass shows light ‘pressure cracks’. This plexiglass can be easily replaced, but we kept it on to emphasize the original condition of this Longines wristwatch. Of course, it can be replaced on request.

The watch comes with it’s original Longines box.
