Omega Seamaster 2808 Türler with Omega bracelet and box
Omega is a Swiss watch brand that was founded in 1848 by Louis Brandt. the company has a long history of producing high-quality watches, and the Seamaster model is one of their most iconic lines. The Omega Seamaster was first introduced in 1948 and is still in production.
This particular Seamaster, the 2808 reference, was produced in 1956, and features a rare Türler dial. Türler is a renowned swiss retailer that even offered watches to powerful clients like Sir Winston Churchill. Watches with co-signed dials, just like the Türler dealer stamp, are highly sought-after by collectors due to their extra touch of rarity. Double-stamped watches from well-known retailers are also known to have increased in value at a higher rate than those without any retailer stamps.
Another great thing about this watch is the evenly-spread and creamy patina on the dial. Omega’s automatic caliber 471 powers the watch and it’s encased by a characteristic and classic 33mm case with clover crown. To conclude: this watch is an excellent example of a vintage omega watch. It features the original BOR bracelet, which gives the watch a vintage feel and makes it unique from other contemporary watches, as well as an added original box. Overall, this watch would make a great addition to any collection.
