The Seamaster is a line of dive watches that Omega has been producing since 1948. The Seamaster was designed to be a durable and reliable watch that could withstand the rigors of diving, and it quickly became a popular choice among divers and adventurous types.
This Omega Seamaster 2869 is a vintage watch that was produced in 1956. It has a stainless-steel case with a diameter of 34mm and it houses the Omega caliber 501 movement. On top of this extremely reliable movement sits the original glossy black cross-hair dial, which is a rare and distinct feature of this watch. The dial also has an applied Omega logo and arrow hour markers with intact lume plots which have a nice warm patina to them. To add to the vintage charm of this Seamaster are the patinated dauphine hands with intact lume. Furthermore, this beautiful Seamaster 2869 has its original Omega signed crown.
The case back features the engraving ‘J. G. GRUNWALDT’ which adds a personal touch to this watch and shows that this gorgeous Seamaster has lived a long life so far. The overall condition of this watch is mint with an excellent case with sharp lugs. The glossy black cross-hair dial is in beautiful condition and is rarely seen on the market.
