Rolex Oyster Royal 2280 Steel Black Dial from 1939

Behold, one of the (if not the), most attractive Rolex Oyster Royal available on the market at the moment. The star of the show is the original black dial with raised printing, and a beautiful 12-3-9 lay-out. The dial is in complete balance, with the small seconds at 6, and the strong colour contrast. Despite the Oyster Royal size, this watch is absolutely breathtaking on the wrist, very few watches can deliver this same appearance – Try finding another black ‘sector’ dial like this! The movement runs strong, and the case has been preserved nicely. This watch was bought on a French antique market by an antique clock collector, which helps us to understand the honest and original condition.
