Product information:
First things first: This Art-Deco style dial are one of the reasons why I love 1930’s watches. The 12, 3 and 9 ‘o clock numerals are proportioned slightly larger than the other Arabic numerals on this ‘Railroad’ dial, which creates the populair ‘sector dial’ style. On the underside of the dial appears a rectangular subsidiary dial which displays the elegantly shaped seconds hand. This seconds hand sweeps effortless above the warmly patinated and original dial. The smooth motion of the elegant blue steeled hands are made possible by a freshly serviced, manually wound and in-house developed Tissot T20 movement. This movement is finished to high standarts, as the presence of the gold chatons and filed down edges of the movement suggests. The movement show many similarities with the tonneau-shaped Omega movements from the 1930-1940’s era, which emphasize the reliability of this Swiss-made watch calibre.
