PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

This Verdal ‘Tank’ from the early 1950’s features a stainless steel case measuring 23 x 33 mm, with classic rectangular proportions typical of the period. The watch is fitted with a rare and original black gilt dial with Roman numerals. The deep black surface combined with gilt printing creates strong contrast and an elegant vintage appearance. The dial remains exceptionally well preserved and is one of the defining features of this watch.

Power comes from a manual wind movement that was serviced in February 2026 and has not been worn since. The watch is preserved in remarkable NOS condition and still retains its original leather strap and buckle, making it a rare and honest survivor from the 1950’s.
