Vintage Omega 30T2 from 1947

Omega is a Swiss watch brand that was founded in 1848 by Louis Brandt. the company has a long history of producing high-quality watches, and the Seamaster model is one of their most iconic lines. The Omega Seamaster was first introduced in 1948 and is still in production. Seamaster watches were water resistant and durable watches that were first introduced by Omega in 1948. The Seamaster line of watches is characterized by its distinctive design and high-quality craftsmanship.

This early Omega model is a stainless-steel watch that was produced in 1947, bases on its serial number which is visible on the movement.

The watch features a 33 mm case diameter, and an in-house Omega 30T2, manual wind movement. On top of the extraordinary patinated dial sits an acrylic crystal and a smooth bezel made of stainless-steel. These elements bring all aspects in this watch together to create a rare and beautiful watch. The condition of this very early 30T2 wristwatch is very good, and it comes with the original finishing on the case. Both the dial and hands have are still in beautiful condition, which adds to the charm of this watch.

The cherry on the cake for this specific Omega Seamaster, is the presence mirror-like hour indexes in Arabic script in combination with it’s freshly serviced movement.
