Zarvath Diver Automatic Bakelite bezel
The Zarvath brand was founded on the 24th of November in 1953 in Naples, Italy. The small Italian watch brand imported Swiss watch movements for their watches, making them reliable and easy to maintain. Here we have a extraordinary diver watch from the 1960s in superb vintage condition. The bezel which can be used by divers for timing decompression stops, is made of the fragile material, bakelite. This example isn’t broken or heavily damaged, as the most of this watches from that era. In addition, the original tritium is present on the hands, dial and bezel. The tritium material faded in to a mesmerizing yellow-ish colour, contrasting beautifully on the black dial.
